A lot of my family members are
buried in the same section of the St. Mary's Church of the Maternity Cemetery in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania. There are
12 plots there for the Gabriell/Jacobs family. There's a woman buried in one of the plots named Emily Ransom. I haven't been able to find a connection yet between her and my family.
I found her obituary and it says she was a life-long resident of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and her maiden name was Sdonczyk.
She was also an employee in Wilkes-Barre area dress factories and a member of St. Mary's Maternity church. She was survived
by two sisters, Mary Sdonczyk Myculyn and Helen Sdonczyk Rocko. I'm trying to figure out more about who she was and
if there is a connection between her and my family.
