Johann Bombich was the brother of Anastazja Bombich-Jakubowski.
He was married to a woman named Piotra and they had a son Jan and a daughter Anna.
The
only records of Johann and Piotra and their family are in Anastazja's obituary and in four family photographs, including
the one above. Anastazja's obituary from 1934
says he lived in Germany at the time. Also,
there are messages on the back of two of the pictures that I haven't been able to decipher. The portrait
above is in postcard style and on the back it says "Bombich Ziwkow Ozenwou", and in the bottom corner near that message it
says "35/45P". On the back of another picture, it says "tu just Ila" or "tu just Jla".
